Psychologist Session


My name is David Elliot and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I believe everyone has the right to pursue happiness and that everyone possesses the capacity to seek out their own happiness. My clinical focus is on family dynamics, ADHD, substance use, and behavior management; though I have experience working with an array of different clients and cater my therapeutic approach to each individual. When I'm not helping clients, I am often enjoying outdoor activities such as hiking, snowboarding, and jogging; on a rainy day, I enjoy cooking, playing drums, and watching my 90 gallon saltwater fishtank. Family therapy


Sometimes kids can be a handful, especially since they don’t come with a manual. It’s common for screaming matches and stonewalling to become the norm when conflicts arise. When this happens, everyone is left frustrated, unhappy, or even hurt. When these conflicts go unresolved, they only reinforce arguments and feeling unheard. With the right tools, my clients learn to be present with one another, relate and understand each other, and address conflicts with confidence and ease.

Childhood experiences can be passed on from generation to generation, perpetuating patterns that may or may not work for us. And sometimes we overcompensate in order to not be like our parents.
